Rendezvous 2017 | October 5-7, 2017

Join your friends and colleagues in beautiful downtown Missoula, Montana, for the 2017 Rendezvous hosted by the ID-MT Chapter, American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and the Montana Trails, Recreation, and Parks Association (MTRPA). The program will feature speakers, topics, and tours that highlight the value of Integrated Design. Collaboration between the planning and design disciplines is the growing trend, where from the Point of Beginning of a project, professional consultants - architects, engineers, landscape architects and designers, recreation planners - are increasingly working together to develop solutions that are sustainable, cost effective, attractive and valuable.

We’re excited to offer a program filled with excellent education opportunities for park and recreation professionals, planners, landscape architects, architects, and engineers with CEUs for each profession. The conference kicks off on Thursday with educational sessions for MTRPA. These sessions are geared towards topics for parks and recreation professionals but are open to all registrants. Friday features two educational tracks. One track is geared towards all design professionals with topics that illustrate collaboration between design fields. The second track is geared towards parks and recreation.  The afternoon is filled with tours of projects demonstrating collaboration within design. Friday will conclude with a reception where we invite our attendees and the community’s design professionals to come together. Saturday features more tours including Fort Missoula Regional Park.  Education is focused on topics specific to landscape architecture. The conference will conclude with the IDMT Chapter ASLA Awards Banquet at the brand new Missoula College building overlooking the Clark Fork.
