A walking tour that provides an introduction to Boise's first major park that was named after a great woman who influenced the City of Boise. This tour will highlight the unique history of this park and others and their critical role in the development of Boise.
Goal: Introduce park users to the unique history of the park and its role in the development of Boise.
Objective:
1. Appreciating the park’s history and local significance,
2. Park evolution
3. How to incorporate modern elements and pay tribute to history which encourages appropriate use of the park.
Audience: Small groups; mixed ages, families to seniors.
