This session will highlight Story Maps as an option to offer digital opportunities to explore parks and open spaces.  Using ArcGIS Online, a cloud-based mapping platform, Story Maps feature interactive maps that incorporate text, photos and videos to tell place-based stories. Diving into the newly created Milltown State Park Story Map as an example, the session will discuss the process required to develop a Story Map, demonstrate some key features, and discuss the pros and cons of using this approach to communicate and connect with the public.
