We are a creative crew of landscape architects, designers and city builders that works hard and has fun.  We are passionate about good design and contributing to beautiful, safe and accessible human and natural environments and we work on a wide range of public realm, planning and development and landscape and community design projects taking them from concepts and master plans through detailed design and construction. The groundcubed team believes in collaboration, thoughtfulness and building strong relationships both within our studio and with our clients and partners. With offices in Coeur d’Alene, Calgary, Edmonton and Canmore, we are actively working on projects in the western US and across Canada.

What We Need

We are looking for a Landscape Designer/Landscape Architect to help the growing portfolio at our Coeur d’Alene studio. This is an opportunity to work on exciting local and international projects and support business development. What You Bring

  • 2-5 years of experience in the field of Landscape Architecture and/or Urban Design

  • Entrepreneurial energy and excitement about mentorship, interest in growing a business and a mix of creative and technical skills

  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture

  • A solid understanding of landscape construction methods and materials, construction management and planning processes

  • High proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering software

  • Desire to make positive contributions to a team and the ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication skills for effectively liaising with clients, project partners and our internal groundcubed team

  • Knowledge of metric and imperial measurement is an asset

  • A valid driver’s license
