/Place Landscape Architects, an innovative landscape architecture firm, is seeking landscape architects / landscape designers to join our team in Teton Valley, Idaho. We’re currently looking for 1-2 entry-level to mid-level candidates.
Our mission is to create places within the landscape that display a simple aesthetic and distinct connection to the natural environment. We aim to bring fresh ideas to each site to create inspiring, functional spaces that compliment the natural beauty of Jackson Hole and Teton Valley.
Place LA is involved with projects of a variety of scales and scopes, offering services throughout the entire design and construction process. Potential services provided include site design, project management, master planning, permitting and approvals, site selection and due diligence for new property acquisitions. Project locations include Teton Valley, Idaho, Jackson, Wyoming, and occasionally Montana.
Description
This position will offer a collaborative team environment, fast-paced project development in a rapidly growing community, and great access to all the outdoor amenities Teton Valley and Jackson Hole have to offer! This is a full-time, in-office position. Part time remote work may be considered on an interim basis, but is not preferred.
Potential Responsibilities & Job Tasks (Dependent on experience level)
Evaluate Client program and translate into goals
Site analysis for design constraints and opportunities
Produce initial conceptual design studies by hand
Apply design studies & produce hand-rendered or Photoshop-rendered concept plans
Further concept plans to design development drawings, and then convert to construction documents
Provide direction to Contractors during design installation
Track and manage project budget/design fee
Communicate directly with Clients and other project team members

Education Requirements
Candidates should possess a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or have a related graduate design degree.
